OYO reports 15% growth in revenue for UK operations in 2024

Economic Times March 27, 2025

OYO, the global travel technology company, has reported a significant 15% increase in revenue for its UK operations in 2024 compared to the previous year. This impressive growth comes despite challenges faced by the broader market, as indicated by STR data.

OYO's success in the UK market can be attributed to its strategic focus on dynamic pricing and leveraging its Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. The company's AI-powered pricing engine helps optimize revenue for its hotel partners by automatically adjusting booking prices based on room type, seasonality, and other factors.

Furthermore, OYO is expanding its premium presence in the UK, planning to open over 40 self-operated hotels through leasehold contracts this financial year. The company has already onboarded 18 hotels under this model and plans to add 22 more across key cities like London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

"Our continued growth in 2024 demonstrates the strength of our business model and the effectiveness of our approach," said Gautam Swaroop, CEO – OYO International. Puneet Yadav, Country Head – OYO UK, added, "Our AI-powered pricing engine continues to drive optimal revenue for our hotel partners, while our automated solutions are helping address key industry challenges like rising operational costs and staff shortages."

With over 200 hotels in 65 UK cities, OYO is empowering hotels by boosting demand and increasing revenue through multiple Online Travel Agents (OTAs) and its own platform. The company's technology-driven approach is enhancing hotel operations and guest experiences across its UK portfolio.
